Our Y5/6 explored the illustrations in a range of books held at the National Centre of |Children's Books
They visited Newcastle Library archives to explore extremely rare and old books.
Imaginations were fired by the exhibitions of famous books and authors.
Our Y5/6 children worked as a team to capture pupil voice to share with other schools regarding wealth of books in centre.
Children created their interpretation of the books they saw and worked with.
Stories were brought to life through re-enactment.
Newcastle Library archives were explored.
The children explored the life of Judith Kerr and her early drawings and original books.
